Closer to our groups plans on returning back in two years.

This photo attached was taken last year at a local farm.  I came across it recently in my photos and because I have been thinking how soon swallows will be migrating, I decided why not post it?  Not long after them will be one of my favorite birds of all time, the ruby-throats.  Right now I have been enjoying photographing them chasing each other from sunup to sundown!  There seems to be 3 females and one male.  Stay tuned for photos I will post on this site as well as my blog:  ajgphotography67.blogspot.com   Why do I have two blogs?  Don't know........

It's always a treat visiting with my brother and sister-in-law. After a wonder breakfast, we headed out into the cool fresh air. What was going to be a short hike, turned into a 2 mile hike up the hill behind their house. What a wonderful hike it was!

We counted about 4 spots where the deer had bed down, guessing they were a couple of days old.

It was questionable whether or not we would fall through in areas but once we got out toward the middle, all was clear!

We thought that these tracks up to the lodge may have been coyote tracks. Notice the pile of wood stored on top.

]]><![CDATA[A Black & White Day~]]>Wed, 05 Feb 2014 18:28:10 GMThttps://www.annegreenephotography.com/blog/a-black-white-dayIt has turned out to be a wonderful day! Yes, we are getting "smacked" with around 10"  of snow but at least it is not freezing like this whole winter has been so far.  Plenty of food in the bird feeders, which not only makes the birds happy but makes me just as happy watching them.  There have been 3 male cardinals and 1 female out at the feeder all day, I guess that means it will be an exciting spring for them :)  I came across this photo (Ruby-throated hummingbird) from last year and decided to see how it would look in B & W.  Well it did take on that "mystery mood" feeling that black and white does so beautifully.
