Snowshoeing in Vermont

It's always a treat visiting with my brother and sister-in-law. After a wonder breakfast, we headed out into the cool fresh air. What was going to be a short hike, turned into a 2 mile hike up the hill behind their house. What a wonderful hike it was!

We counted about 4 spots where the deer had bed down, guessing they were a couple of days old.

I would say the beaver will be finishing up with this soon enough.

It was questionable whether or not we would fall through in areas but once we got out toward the middle, all was clear!

We thought that these tracks up to the lodge may have been coyote tracks. Notice the pile of wood stored on top.
