A Black & White Day~

It has turned out to be a wonderful day! Yes, we are getting "smacked" with around 10"  of snow but at least it is not freezing like this whole winter has been so far.  Plenty of food in the bird feeders, which not only makes the birds happy but makes me just as happy watching them.  There have been 3 male cardinals and 1 female out at the feeder all day, I guess that means it will be an exciting spring for them :)  I came across this photo (Ruby-throated hummingbird) from last year and decided to see how it would look in B & W.  Well it did take on that "mystery mood" feeling that black and white does so beautifully.
